1. Which system should be integrated in which type of wall?

In every wall type in which you can screw or fix something (bric, ytong, metal stud wall, ... ) you can install any kind of Xinnix Door System.

The choice of the system depends partly on the personal preference of the installer, partly of the technical characteristics of the system.

F.e. the systems X1 or X240 are used for ceiling-high doors.

We help you choosing your system:

- Fire rated system: X240EI (push and pull : possible). Please ask for our specific fire door files to discover the multiple options.

- Acoustic door system: X240 (push and pull: possible)

 2. Can a XINNIX door frame tear out?
A Xinnix door frame is designed to be fixed and screwed in each wall type. After mechanical anchoring of the door frame in the wall, the door frame cannot tear out. This mechanical anchoring is necessary because the slamming of a door cannot be stopped by any plastering or plasterboard. After the anchoring in the wall, you need the apply foam to fixate the system even more.

You can also find those recommandations in our catalogue or on the installation instructions which are provided with every delivered system. You can already download them on our website (subject 'Downloads").

Every house is moving and is being lived. Guaranteeing that hairline cracks will never be visible, is impossible. We recommend that if you prefer painted walls, you use a wall covering lining for a perfect finish of the door frame. The seams of the lining will be hidden in the door frame behind the rubber gasket. This gasket provides a particularly high acoustic comfort.
This lining is an invisible reinforcement which is not only good for our Xinnix doorframes but also for the daily use of the walls. Yet, this is not a ‘must’, only advice we’ve received from professional painters.

3 Can I use a normal plinth or should I use adjusted plinths?

Our integrated XP50© Plinths offer the opportunity to open the door (X1-pull) on the full 180°. The X240 system (push) can be opened 90°.

When using normal plinths with a pull (X1) door: the plinths should be cut in 45°. For a push door (X240) the plinth should be integrated in the wall of the opening.
